We had an issue this week with someone impersonating a copy machine repair person and coming into Fifth Ward before it was opened. The multi-service staff mistakenly let the person into the library--Fifth Ward does not even have a copy machine.
We wanted to make sure that all staff understand that the ONLY authorized copy repairmen will come from Coin Copier Inc. and will be wearing a Coin Copier shirt. Should someone say they are from Coin Copier but not have a shirt, they should have a coin copier badge.
If someone comes posing as a repairman and then tries to get you to sign for paper or toner, do not do that. Coin Copier provides all paper and toner under their contract - we do not provide these supplies or have to sign for them.
Please remember to have all outside contractors sign in.
