HVAC Transition

Hello,

I had a meeting with GSD and I was informed that today (9/30/15) will be Johnson Controls (JCI) last day. The new contractor is TDI and will be starting tomorrow, October 1^st. TDI has made some site visits so some of you may have seen or even met some of their techs. I have not received the emergency contact number for handling after hours HVAC issues but I should have that information in the next week or so. In the meantime please contact the GSD Property Management On Call After Hours Contact number (713.213.8776) for any issues after 4pm as well as call or send me an email so I can address it. I have also sent IT an update for the Sprocket Work Order Instructions. Hopefully this transition will be as smooth as possible.

A/C Issues

Now that the temperatures are getting warmer, our HVAC systems are getting tested again.

As a reminder, once the temperature is over 76 degrees, you can put in a Sprocket for the temperature being Too Hot.  Please include the temperature (according to the digital thermometer) and the time it was recorded.  If more than an hour goes by and you do not hear from Johnson Controls, please contact the NL Office at 3-2707 so we can see if Karrington can get an update.

Once the temperature is 80 degrees or higher, please contact NL Office at 3-2707 again so the Team Leaders can make a decision on closing the building.

If you do not have a digital thermometer, please let Elva Alvarez know.  They are expensive items, so staff need to keep track of them.
