Using our Cisco Phones to make a conference call

Hello,

Did you know that you can use our phone system to make a conference call? Here are the instructions:
Step 1: During a call, press the Confrm softkey (press More once and you should see it). This selects a new line and places the other party on hold.
Step 2: Place a call to the second number by using the dial pad as usual.
Step 3: When the call connects, press Confrm softkey again to add the original party to the conference call.

When the initiator of the call disconnects, the call is terminated.

This may be helpful when having staff meetings without all being in the same building.

Thanks,

Laurie

We've used conference calls for our staff meetings here in the South Belt (BLU/BRA/VIN). We've also used the webcams. The webcams work better, but when there is an issue, conference calls are our backup.
