Houston Housing Authority requests your feedback about any triumphs; or challenges in customers accessing the housing voucher program applications today.
Houston Housing Authority reports receiving 13,000 applications by 10 a.m. Many of these may have been customers who saw information posted on our website: http://www.houstonlibrary.org/hha-housing-choice-voucher.
Most of our locations did not open until 11 a.m., therefore we anticipate that the number of applicants will quickly climb. Once again, please share your feedback either on the NL blog or by directly emailing me.

We had some issues accessing the site from the catalog-only terminals. The IT Help Desk informs us that it had to do with a redirect HHA put on their site to accommodate heavy usage. IT was working to restore access.
We have had several people come in and use our computers for this purpose. We have not had any problems. We have not had enough usage to require us to open our lab.
