eBook Training

As part of the HALAN “eBooks for Everyone” grant, committee members have been visiting HPL locations to train staff on ebooks, ereaders, downloading digital media and HPL’s mobile app. In case you missed one of these sessions, don’t despair! We are offering two make sessions as follows:

Make-up Session 1: Friday, 27 July 2012 @ Central, 6th Floor, IT Training Room, 10:30am-12:30
Make-up Session 2: Friday, 3 August 2012 @ Central, 6th Floor, IT Training Room, 10:30am-12:30

If you choose to participate, you will receive 2 hours of training credit. The training is designed to provide an ebook orientation, familiarity with various ereaders, hands-on downloading experience and exploring the mobile app.

E-books for Everyone is a current grant project funded by the Institute for Museum and Library Services through the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, and coordinated by the Houston Area Library Automated Network.
