Monthly Report Narrative

Hi, Team!

The Monthly Report narrative serves as a snapshot of your library and community during the past month. The narrative is your opportunity to add your point of view and analysis as manager. Remember, hit the high points. Don’t dwell on the details, or simply restate the statistics. Please use the attached sample report as a guide and template. 

Ø  Type face must be 11or 12 point Arial
Ø  Your narrative should be no more than 1 page in length, single-spaced and address the topics listed below.

 1. Usage trends

• Who is using the library? Why?
• What makes your library popular or unpopular with your community?
• Have you noticed any changes in library use?

*This is your chance to provide insight into your customers and community!

 

2. Significant accomplishments

• Service highlights (no more than 3-5)
• Special projects
• Partnerships/grants
• Customer success stories

3. Significant challenges

• Issues in the community/communities you serve
• Issues with your library
• Any trends you see that your library will need to address

* Remember – challenges are not necessarily negative.

Monthly narratives are due on the 10^th of each month.  There is a new folder in the G drive: Monthly Narratives fm NL.
