- Managers should be creating work plans for your staff members.
- There are templates on the G Drive under HEAR for you to copy into the HEAR software.
- There is a grid for the Behavioral Factors also on the G Drive.
- You have to pick one of the Mayor's goals for each job duty--Use Quality of Life
- Once you have created the template, go back to the HOME page and select a staff member to assign the template to. Assign the template and then go down to the bottom of the page and click the yellow box to sign the plan. Make sure you go back to the bottom and then save the plan as well.
- The plan then goes to the reviewing authority and the employee for approval.
- The employee cannot sign it until the reviewing authority has approved it.
- Once the plan is approved by yourself, the reviewing authority, and the employee, you can go into it and start assessing them. Non-supervisors need to be reviewed by July 30th.
- Current Assistant Managers and LA Supervisors are considered non-supervisors for this review period and should be reviewed in July.
Important Information
- Review periods: Non-supervisors April 1, 2012-June 30, 2013
- Internal promotions: If you have a staff member who received an internal promotion, they should be reviewed according to the job title that is listed in HEAR. If they have been in their new positions at least 90 days, they should be given a review in July with their new job title. If it has been less than 90 days, they should receive the 5 month review as scheduled.
- New hires: New hires should be reviewed at 5 months and 11 months. Check with me if you are not sure when someone started.
